Advanced Prostate Screening for At-Risk Men

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men and the second leading cause of cancer deaths.  Most medical imaging capabilities are capable of only imaging cancers that have metastasized outside of the prostate.  We are evaluating a new type of MRI scan that enables accurate imaging of tumors within the prostate.

This will allow our providers to work with their patients to screen those who may be suspicious of cancer, under active surveillance, or those who require treatment.  We hope to be able to screen more men, especially those at-risk for prostate-cancer, ultimately to be able to intervene earlier on.
